Central Line infections and bloodstream infections cause at least 15 %- 19% of the total infections in any hospital. These can be related to the device(new) being contaminated, or the pre-cleaning of the skin, not wearing of fresh gloves, or the dressing of post-line insertions which cause these infections to patients.
